Great Turtle Park

"This is a hidden gem in the middle of Mackinac Island. It took quite a bit of bicycling up hill to get here, but our three-year-old really enjoyed the playground. There are also restrooms up here. There is a Frisbee golf course, a ball diamond, and other athletic fields. A nice, out-of-the-way park."

"Watched soccer there. There is a new electronic scoreboard. The park is well set up. There is a soccer field, a basketball court, a volleyball court, disc golf, play ground for younger kids and an equestrian area. There are balls in a cage so you don’t have to bring your own."

"Pretty darn interesting little spot tucked in around the middle of the island. They had sports fields of all types that were maintained very well, lights and bathrooms. They even had a small little skatepark which was a huge surprise to myself. Not much, but a quarter pipe and a flat bank. Still more fun to be had on the island none the less. A great stop while on the island!"
