"Well taken care of park. The only area on the island where the roads didn't have horse poo laying around everywhere. Right at the end of Lake Shore Dr. and Market St. Can't miss it. A stones throw from where the ferry drops you off. Right in front of Ft. Mackinac. Idk if people are allowed to walk on the grass. I passed by multiple times at various times of day and never saw anyone on the grass."
"This is a very expansive, grassy area in front of the forty. You can read some historical information here. There are picnic tables. There is a nice little playground for children. There is also a geocache hidden near the playground. It would be a good spot for a picnic lunch."
